Operational Iberia renews its core ISO certifications
Operational Iberia, S.L.U. has successfully achieved re-certification across its core ISO management standards. It is a significant milestone for the team and a clear signal of the standards our clients and partners can expect from the wider Operational Group.
The re-certification covers three internationally recognised standards, independently audited and certified by Applus+ (accredited through the LGAI Technological Centre):
– ISO 9001:2015: Quality management
– ISO 14001:2015: Environmental management
– ISO 45001:2023: Occupational health and safety
Together, these three standards form the backbone of how Operational Iberia designs, delivers and maintains engineering projects across the industrial sector.
Holding all three is no accident: the standards are built to work together, sharing a common structure so that quality, environmental responsibility and worker safety are managed as one integrated system rather than three separate exercises.
Why re-certification matters
An ISO certificate is not a one-time award. Certifications are typically valid for three years, with annual surveillance audits in between and a full re-certification assessment at the end of the cycle.
Passing that assessment means an independent body has looked again, not at intentions but at how the business actually operates day to day, and confirmed that the systems are working, being followed, and improving over time.
In other words, re-certification is evidence of consistency.
It shows that the disciplines behind quality, environmental care and safety have held up under scrutiny, and that they are embedded in the way the team works rather than dusted off for an audit.
What each standard means for our clients
ISO 9001: Quality management.
At its heart, ISO 9001 is about doing what we say we will, reliably and repeatably. It requires a clear, process-driven approach to delivery, a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs, and a commitment to continual improvement.
For clients, it is assurance that a project delivered by Operational Iberia is backed by a management system designed to produce consistent results.
ISO 14001: Environmental management.
ISO 14001 provides a framework for identifying, managing and reducing an organisation’s environmental impact, from resource efficiency to legal compliance.
Operational’s entire reason for being is helping industry use less energy and control what it releases into the air, so managing our own environmental responsibilities to a recognised standard is simply practising what we deliver for our clients.
ISO 45001: Occupational health and safety.
ISO 45001 is the international standard for keeping people safe and well at work. It requires organisations to identify hazards, control risks, and build a culture where health and safety is led from the top and owned by everyone.
On industrial sites, where our teams work alongside heavy processes and demanding environments, that discipline is fundamental, and it reflects our absolute priority on the protection and health of every one of our people.
Part of a wider commitment
This achievement belongs to the Operational Iberia team, but the standards behind it reflect the values shared across the whole Operational Group.
Wherever we work, across the UK, France, Germany, Iberia and beyond, the goal is the same: engineering that is genuinely built around our clients, delivered by people who take quality, the environment and safety seriously.
Congratulations to the Operational Iberia team on a well-earned result. It is proof that a commitment to excellence is not a claim you make once, but one you renew.
