Operational welcomes industrial project management expert, Chris Heaton
Operational UK is delighted to introduce Chris Heaton as our new Project Manager, playing a pivotal role in overseeing all company projects to ensure they run seamlessly, on time, and within budget.
About Chris:
Chris embarked on his industrial career as a steel industry apprentice, specialising in secondary steel metallurgy. His dedication led him to earn a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, laying a robust foundation for his future endeavours.

Professional growth:
Post-qualification, Chris spent eight years as a project engineer in the air handling and filtration industry, refining his skills in project management and enhancing operational efficiency. His hands-on experience and strategic approach significantly contributed to the success of various industrial ventures.
Project manager role:
With a rich background in the steel industry and extensive experience in air handling and filtration, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to Operational UK Ltd. As the Project Manager, he oversees a diverse portfolio, including industrial waste heat recovery, dryer optimisation, service and maintenance, and air pollution control projects for factories across the United Kingdom. Chris ensures seamless coordination at every step of the customer’s journey, planning and managing each project to completion.
Personal life:
Outside of work, Chris enjoys leisurely walks in the Cheshire countryside. Originally from Bolton, he now calls Helsby home.
